The Highlands site was previously home to a 50 year old house featuring two intersected gable forms. The large property was subdivided to allow for the construction of 2 new single family residence. References to the simple, gabled geometry of the previous house were brought forward into a pair of side-by-side homes. These homes marry contemporary sensibilities with a nod to the past and the surrounding architectural fabric. The simplicity in their design elements allows the homes to be similar, yet unique.
