HONE Workshop is a unique co-working, wood fabrication facility located within the Strathcona Village development in Vancouver. The shell building was completed in mid 2018 by GBL Architects, and hosts Vancouver's first set of industrial flex spaces within a mixed use residential development. BÜRO47 took a coordinating role in delivering the interior fit-out of the space which features an open office area, a minimalist kitchen, a fabrication shop floor, and a finishing mezzanine. We look forward to collaborating with HONE on future projects, where their advanced fabrication capabilities (including a 5 axis CNC) could open previously impossible avenues of design exploration.
